Monster Trucks Rule

Great trip to the Georgia Dome for some MONSTER TRUCKS!!!! Douglas and Mike have made this a Father son tradition every year. They go every January to the Moster Truck Jam. It is so very loud and they love it. This year Dana wants to go and enjoy the noise and trucks, so we may have to make it family thing.

Dad and Me with Red Wings

Mike and Douglas went to the Detroit Red Wings and Atlanta Thrashers hockey game. They had a great time at the game. It is a great way for them to have a great father son time. Of course you can tell Douglas had to have a giant bucket of popcorn, but what is a good hockey game without popcorn?

Christmas at Moms

Here we all are. For the first time in 9 years all the kids are together at my moms house at Christmas. It took some doing but all 5 kids with their spouses or signifigant other with all 5 grandkids. We had a wonderful day spending time together. Hope every year can be like this one was.

Christmas Morning

We woke up to all the gifts from Santa. The kids were very excited to open the gifts. They both got all that they had asked for. They tore off the paper and had such fun doing so. Myself and Mike enjoyed watching as they enjoyed themselves. After they finished the Santa gifts we had our family exchange. The kids received even more gifts and I received a beautiful bracelet from the kids and a 5 stone necklace and earring set from Mike. Mike got a new watch and full blooded pug, named Dakota.

Getting ready for Christmas

We made it back from Michigan. As soon as we got home Douglas and Dana could not wait to put up the Christmas decorations. So we pulled ou all the boxes and got right to work. They were so proud of their hard work as they helped in hanging the ornaments on the tree.

We are ready for Santa now. Although we will not be home for Christmas, we can still enjoy the spirit of it. We will be traveling down south to have Christmas with my family. The kids can hardly wait. Each morning Mike and I get woke up to a soft little voice saying " Mommy can we open the presents under the tree and Santa can put more there later." Of course we say no and they get terribly upset, but they will have more fun waaiting and getting all the giftsat once on Christmas morning.

Hope all has a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year. Hope to see all soon.

Happy Thanksgiving

I just want to take a moment and wish all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We did as we all went to Michigan for Thanksgiving. All the family was there and we all got to enjoy the new baby Gavin and enjoy in seeing each other since we had not see one another since July.

Hope all was fun and everyone was thankful all the love in their lives.

Halloween

Halloween at the home of the Hazelrigg's. We had a cute little ladybug and very scary werewolf. We had a blast with the kids. We toured our neighborhood and then crossed the street to the next neighborhood. The kids got so much candy and had a geat time going door to door. I dressed up as a Woo Hoo with the kids. I had funny hair with hair paint in it along with wacky make-up. No pictures of me..sorry. Hope all had a great and safe time. Miss all those friends of mine who moved, and the family that lives so far away.
