Tae kwon Do testing

On Saturday, September 13, 2008 Douglas attended his belt testing. He done really well. It was a long day but well worth it. He did pass and receive his orange belt. I have not gotten the pictures from the belt ceremony yet, but here are a few pictures of the testing. He had to show that her knew his form of the yellow/orange stripe belt. Also that her knew certain kicks. He had to break a board with his hand and foot. He is now learning self
defense, and will learn new stages of self defense from now on
each new belt. So pretty soon he will know how to defend himself
the proper way. Enjoy the pictures.

new addition

Well we now have a new addition to our family. Her name is Espn Dakota. The kids really love her and Mike has already spoiled her rotten.

Douglas is loving school. and is doing really well. Dana still looks for her Bubbie from time to time. It is cute to watch her walk around the house and yell for him. Mike graduates from college in 5 weeks. Yay....It has been a long road but well worth it in the end.

This past weekend we went to south Georgia to visit family and my grandmother found mine and my sisters dresses from 30 years ago. We took pictures of Dana in them and she was really cute in them. I hope you enjoy them.

Douglas tested a couple of weeks ago in Tae Kwon Do. It was a long day but well worth it in the end. He passed and got his orange belt. He was so proud and can not wait to start learning the new belt form and self defense. I will have photos up soon.

introduction

We are the Hazelrigg's. We have 2 beautiful children. Their ages are 2 and 5. I enjoy scrapbooking, and painting, having fun with my family and friends. We have just recently remodled our home to give us the room we desired. Since construction has been completed we are still trying to figure out what to do with all the extra space. I am sure it will all fill up eventually. With 2 small children and all their toys it will fill up quickly.

My son is in Tae Kwon Do and seems to enjoy it at times and my daughter enjoys making huge messes. I would have it no other way.
